The upcoming horror film “Salmokji” (working title) has officially started filming on May 10, with a confirmed cast featuring Kim Hye Yoon, Lee Jong Won, Kim Jun Han, Jang Da Ah, and others. The movie centers around a production team that travels to a reservoir to update road-view footage and encounters a strange presence hiding in the deep, dark water. This eerie setting aims to deliver a truly immersive horror experience, bringing the unsettling events at the reservoir to life for the audience.
Kim Hye Yoon takes on the role of Su In, one of the members of the production crew. Her supervisor, Kyo Sik, will be played by Kim Jun Han.
Adding a unique dynamic to the story, Kim Young Sung and Oh Dong Min will portray brothers who run the road-view production company. Kim Young Sung plays Kyung Tae, a seasoned professional who feels stuck, while Oh Dong Min portrays Kyung Joon, a producer with a past in the Sea Salvage & Rescue Unit (SSU).
Making their debut on the big screen are Yoon Jae Chan and Jang Da Ah. Yoon Jae Chan will play Sung Bin, the youngest member of the team who accompanies Su In on the assignment. Jang Da Ah will portray Se Jeong, who runs a horror-themed streaming channel, marking a significant new step in her acting career.
Director Lee Sang Min, who has brought together this compelling cast, expressed his excitement about the project. He stated,
