KISS OF LIFE’s agency, S2 Entertainment, has announced legal action against online hate targeting the group. The move comes after months of malicious posts, death threats, and false information circulating online. The agency shared an official statement addressing the issue and apologizing for past controversies.
The group faced backlash earlier this year for a controversial live broadcast and accusations of racial insensitivity. Member Julie personally apologized for the group’s actions. However, the situation escalated with extreme online harassment, leading the agency to take legal steps.
Agency’s Official Statement and Apology
On June 5, S2 Entertainment released a statement in English. They thanked fans for their support while addressing the growing issue of online hate. The agency acknowledged the group’s past mistakes and promised to prevent similar incidents.
“We would like to extend our deepest apologies to everyone who was hurt and offended by the inappropriate content uploaded to KISS OF LIFE’s official YouTube channel on April 2. Both the company and the artists are deeply reflecting on this matter and will strive to ensure such an incident does not happen again.”

However, the agency also revealed that they are tracking harmful posts. These include death threats, deepfake content, false rumors, and s*xual harassment against the members. They confirmed that evidence is being collected for legal action.
Backlash and Fan Reactions
The announcement sparked mixed reactions online. Some netizens criticized the agency for pursuing legal action while the group was still under scrutiny. Others defended the decision, arguing that threats and harassment should not be tolerated.
“The audacity of this group to throw a n*** party and sue anyone who hates them—like, be serious.”*
“Calling the girls and the company shameless for taking action against people literally threatening their lives is so inhumane of you all. Yes, you have the right to be mad at them, but this does in no way give you the right to justify the cruelty that people have been sending them.”
Fans pointed out that criticism is valid, but abuse crosses a line. Many supported the agency’s decision to protect the members from extreme online attacks.
Previous Controversies and Apologies
KISS OF LIFE faced major backlash in April 2025 after a live broadcast was deemed offensive. Later, member Julie issued a personal apology on social media. She expressed regret over the group’s actions, particularly toward the Black and Latino communities.
“I am deeply sorry for using stereotypical gestures and clothes. We are learning and will do better.”
Despite the apology, hate comments and threats continued. The agency’s legal action aims to stop the most severe cases of harassment while addressing accountability.
S2 Entertainment confirmed they are monitoring and documenting all malicious posts. Legal complaints will be filed against those spreading harmful content. The agency emphasized that while criticism is allowed, threats and harassment are illegal.
