What to Expect in Episode 3
Episode 2 ended with Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) facing a major test. Residents dared him to spend a night at the town’s creepy inn to prove that supernatural things were not happening there. Loftis, who refuses to believe in curses or ghosts, accepted the challenge and survived the night. But instead of shutting down the inn like some locals wanted, he decided to keep it open for tourists.

One local character named Wyck (played by Stephen Root) talks openly about a creature called “the hag” that seems to be following Loftis.
