The story follows Ito Narita, a second-year high school student who has always been an only child. Her life takes a sharp turn when her mother remarries. When Ito arrives at the new house, she gets a huge surprise. Her stepfather already has four sons. Overnight, she goes from being an only child to the older sister of four younger brothers. The four boys are:
