Stray Kids continue their winning streak with their latest title track “This & That.” The group secured their third music show trophy on the August 19 episode of MBC M’s “Show Champion.” The victory adds to an impressive week for the group, who also made history by topping the Billboard 200 for the ninth consecutive time with their tenth mini-album THIS & THAT and earned a career-best debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 38 with the same track.

How Stray Kids Won on “Show Champion”

The August 19 episode of “Show Champion” featured a competitive lineup of nominees for the first-place crown. Stray Kids went up against KiiiKiii with “Pop Off Pop Off,” Red Velvet with “Surfin’ Boy,” WayV with “Vision Wings (English Ver.),” and Jennie with “Less than a Lover.” At the end of the broadcast, Stray Kids emerged as the winner, taking home their third trophy for “This & That.”

This win follows their first-place finish on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on August 13 and their victory on KBS2’s “Music Bank” on August 14. With this latest achievement, the group now has a total of 48 career music show wins.

Rookie group KiiiKiii also took the stage with their new track “Pop Off Pop Off.” The song features an addictive melody and unique lyrics, paired with Y2K-inspired styling and retro shuffle dance moves. Their performance delivered a lively and youthful energy that stood out during the broadcast.

The episode also featured special performances from veteran acts. No Brain, celebrating their 30th debut anniversary, prepared a special stage. They reinterpreted 10CM’s hit “Americano” with their signature rough sound and energy, alongside their own classic “You Have A Crush On Me.”

Far East Asian Tigers performed “In Wandering Times,” delivering intense instrumentals and explosive energy that captured the emotions of wandering youth.

Rookie band Splayit made their official debut stage with a live performance of their double title tracks “Domino” and “Last Bus.” AxMxP presented their new song “10 Reasons to Date Me,” a bright and fresh track with catchy drums and acoustic guitar.

Stray Kids’ Historic Week Continues

The “Show Champion” win is just one part of a monumental week for Stray Kids. Their tenth mini-album THIS & THAT, released on August 7, sold 369,000 equivalent units in its first week and topped the Billboard 200. This marks their ninth consecutive album to reach number one on the chart.

Additionally, the title track “This & That” debuted at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100, the group’s highest position on the singles chart to date. The album also topped South Korea’s Hanteo weekly chart with a record index score of 1.6 million.
