Netflix has announced that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will debut on February 5, 2026. The new season will consist of 10 episodes, all based on author Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence.
The story picks up directly from the dramatic Season 3 cliffhanger, with defense attorney Mickey Haller now fighting for his own freedom after being framed for murder.

What Season 4 Is About
For the first time in the series, the lawyer becomes the client. Mickey Haller must defend himself against a murder charge. The official story from Netflix states that Mickey and his team must prove his innocence in the death of a former client, a con man named Sam Scales. To clear his name, they need to uncover Sam’s last major scam. This investigation puts them in direct conflict with the district attorney’s office, the FBI, and forces Mickey to deal with unresolved issues from his past.
The show’s co-leaders, Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, have called this Mickey’s most difficult and personal case. They said the stakes have never been higher because Mickey’s life and career are on the line.
โThis is going to be the biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster weโve yet taken our audience on,โ co-showrunner Ted Humphrey told Netflix’s Tudum.

Mickey was immediately arrested, setting the stage for his fight to prove he was framed.
