Hyun Bin returns as Baek Ki Tae in the second season of this political action drama. The story picks up nine years after the first season ended. Ki Tae now holds the top position at the KCIA and has expanded his power and criminal network.
But his success comes with problems. Military groups are closing in on him. Prosecutor Jang Geon Young, played by Jung Woo Sung, lost everything after being framed and now wants revenge.Ki Tae’s younger brother Baek Ki Hyun, played by Woo Do Hwan, is now a senior military officer and finds himself on the opposite side of the conflict.
The show uses real historical events from the 1970s as its background. Director Woo Min Ho said he chose this time period because it shows the origins of the chaotic energy that still affects modern Korea.
“I used real historical events like the 1970 airplane hijacking to set the stage. I was shocked by a crime scene photo from that time showing a child standing in front of their parents’ bodies. That photo represented the ‘age of barbarism’ I wanted to show because this was a time when the people with power could do whatever they wanted while ordinary people suffered.”

The Ordinary Jackpot: A Workplace Comedy with a Twist
Lee Jun Hyuk stars in this comedy based on a popular web novel.He plays Gong Eun Tae, a tired office worker who wins 1.3 billion KRW (about $950,000 USD) in the lottery.
Instead of quitting his job, he keeps working. The money gives him financial security, so he stops worrying about his bosses and starts speaking his mind at work.The show follows how his new attitude changes his relationships with coworkers.

The Scandal: Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook in a Joseon-Era Romance

The show is inspired by the French novel “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.It follows the same story of seduction, manipulation, and betrayal but set in the Joseon era.
Director Jung Ji Woo explained the characters’ complexity at a press conference.
“All three characters live with a massive gulf between their revealed selves and their hidden selves.”
He added that the psychological struggle between them would create “intense visual and narrative suspense.”
The eight-part series premieres September 18 on Netflix globally.Netflix has confirmed a worldwide release on this date.
Dive Into You: Fantasy Romance with Time Travel
Bona stars in this fantasy romance drama that blends time travel with romantic elements.
