Netizens Torch HYBE Following Jeans’ Response To NewJeans Plagiarism Accusations

Korean netizens responded to Mexican girl group Jeans‘ reaction to NewJeans‘ plagiarism accusations.

On May 21, 90s Mexican girl group Jeans responded to fans’ requests to comment on plagiarism allegations targeting NewJeans. In a short message, the group seemed to co-sign the K-Pop group.

Previously, a post claiming NewJeans had copied the 90s group went viral, but was later quickly debunked by fans.

Korean netizens reacted to the response by criticizing HYBE, who they alleged had orchestrated the post as part of their ongoing smear campaign against NewJeans.
