EXO members Xiumin and Chen, also known as part of the subunit EXO-CBX, recently visited India for the first time in December 2024. They performed in Mumbai to a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. A Warm Welcome in India
Xiumin and Chen, whose real names are Kim Min Seok and Kim Jongdae respectively, have been in the entertainment industry for nearly 13 years, since their debut with EXO. They have released music as a group, as a subunit, and as solo artists, along with contributing to soundtracks and other projects. Their global fanbase includes a large following in India, as demonstrated by the energetic crowd at their Mumbai performance. Before taking the stage, they spoke about potential collaborations with Indian artists and the significance of K-Pop’s expansion. They then performed popular songs such as Xiumin’s Brand New and Chen’s Everytime, creating an electric atmosphere with the audience singing along in Korean. The singers were visibly touched by the fans’ support and expressed their desire to return.

As experienced artists, Xiumin and Chen expressed pride in the growth of the K-Pop industry. They explained that they consider various factors before releasing new music. They also shared how their perception of India has changed after experiencing the immense love from their Indian fans (EXO-Ls), stating that they would remember the country through their fans’ support.
