Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3 (Season 4) is currently airing, and fans are excited about the next big step: building a computer from scratch. Episode 4 will show how the team uses his skills to get closer to their moon mission.

The series is in its final stretch. The goal is to build a spaceship and confront the mysterious “Why-Man” on the moon. To do that, Senku needs a computer to handle the complex calculations for space travel. The previous episode set the stage for this huge leap in technology.

Recap of Episode 3: Who is Sai Nanami?

Episode 3, titled “Light Trap in the Darkness,” took the crew to India. After successfully navigating the Suez Canal, Senku and the team went looking for a specific person: Sai Nanami. According to Ryuusui, Sai is one of the greatest mathematicians in history.

Sai is actually Ryuusui’s older brother. The episode showed flashbacks explaining his past. He could do very complex math in his head before he even started school. However, his family only wanted him to focus on math. He felt controlled, so he ran away from home to study computer science in India.

When the crew found his petrified body and revived him, they discovered something amazing. Sai had already written machine code all over the walls of a ship using only his memory. He did this to pass the time and said he was coding for a game called Dragon Quest. This shocked everyone because it revealed that programming is a skill Senku does not fully have. Sai fills that gap perfectly.

What to Expect in Episode 4: The First Computer

Episode 4 will focus on building the first computer in the stone world. With Sai Nanami now on the team, Senku finally has the “digital brain” needed to handle complex calculations. The episode will likely show Senku and Sai working together for the first time.

You can expect a lot of interesting conversations between these two geniuses. Senku provides the physical technology, while Sai provides the code. The episode is expected to show the Science Kingdom entering a new level of technology.

However, the threat of Why-Man is always there. The team does not know when the next petrification beam might hit Earth. This urgency drives them to work faster. Building the computer is not just for fun; it is necessary to save humanity.

Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3 airs every Thursday on Crunchyroll.
