Apple TV+ is rolling out its biggest summer lineup yet. The streaming service has packed June, July, and August 2026 with a mix of fresh series and returning fan favorites. From the newly released Cape Fear starring Javier Bardem and Amy Adams to the long-awaited return of Ted Lasso in August, there is plenty to watch over the next few months. The summer schedule includes psychological thrillers, sci-fi dramas, crime mysteries, comedies, and family content, giving subscribers a steady flow of new episodes every week.
June 2026 Kicks Off With Cape Fear and Sugar Season 2
The summer season started on June 5 with the premiere of Cape Fear, a 10-episode psychological horror thriller. The series is inspired by the 1991 movie directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, both of whom serve as executive producers on this adaptation. Nick Antosca runs the show. The first two episodes dropped on premiere day, with new episodes arriving every Friday through July 31, 2026.
Cape Fear follows happily married attorneys Anna Bowden (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson). Their lives get turned upside down when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the killer they helped put in prison, gets released and comes looking for revenge. The cast also includes Joe Anders, Lily Collias, Malia Pyles, CCH Pounder, Jamie Hector, and Anna Baryshnikov.
June 19 brings back Sugar Season 2. Colin Farrell returns as John Sugar, a private detective in Los Angeles. The neo-noir mystery series follows Sugar as he investigates a missing persons case that pulls him deep into Hollywood secrets. The show gained attention in its first season for its unique twist on the detective genre. Season 2 promises more of the stylish storytelling that made the first season a hit.
On June 26, Camp Snoopy Season 2 arrives for younger viewers and families. The Peanuts gang returns for more outdoor adventures. Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts explore Camp Spring Lake, searching for hedge toads, building sandcastles, and arguing about whether hot dogs are better than hamburgers.
July Brings Silo Season 3, Lucky With Anya Taylor-Joy, and The Dink
July 3 marks the return of Silo Season 3, one of Apple TVโs biggest sci-fi hits. The show, based on Hugh Howeyโs novels, takes place in a massive underground bunker where 10,000 people live after the outside world becomes unlivable. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, who survived her forced cleaning at the end of season two but now struggles with memory loss. The silo is still recovering from a rebellion while facing a new threat. Season three also reveals an origin story set centuries earlier, following journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) as they uncover a conspiracy with catastrophic consequences.
July 8 sees the premiere of Trying Season 5. The comedy series follows Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) as they deal with the arrival of Princess and Tylerโs biological mother Kat (Charlotte Riley), who shows up at their doorstep unexpectedly. The new season explores how this whirlwind of chaos affects their settled family life.
July 15 is the date for Lucky, a new limited crime thriller based on the best-selling novel by Marissa Stapley. Anya Taylor-Joy stars as Lucky Armstrong, a con artist whose life falls apart when a multimillion-dollar heist goes wrong. Forced to run from both the FBI and a dangerous crime boss, she must fight to survive. The series consists of seven episodes, with the first two dropping on premiere day and weekly releases through August 19. Taylor-Joy also serves as an executive producer. The supporting cast includes Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr. , and William Ficht.
July 24 brings The Dink, a comedy movie starring Jake Johnson as Dusty Boyd, a washed-up former tennis prodigy who now coaches unruly kids at his father Chuckโs (Ed Harris) suburban country club. When Dusty injures himself and can no longer play tennis, he reluctantly tries pickleball. He ends up enjoying it with the help of his new partner Candace (Mary Steenburgen). The film also features real-life tennis legend Andy Roddick playing himself as Dustyโs childhood rival.
July 31 closes the month with Snoopy Presents: Thereโs No Place Like Home, Snoopy. The special follows Snoopy as he gets devastated when his beloved doghouse is accidentally sold at a yard sale. Charlie Brown leads Snoopy on an adventure to find his old doghouse, and along the way they learn what makes a house a home.
August Brings Back Ted Lasso for Season 4
August 5 marks the return of Ted Lasso Season 4, the show that turned Apple TV+ into a major player in streaming. Jason Sudeikis returns as the optimistic American football coach who now faces his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division womenโs football team in England. The new season shifts focus to the womenโs team, and Ted must learn to leap before he looks, taking chances he never thought he would take. The show has been off the air since its third season in 2023, making this return a major event for fans.
August 12 brings Women in Blue Season 2. The Spanish-language crime drama follows Marรญa (Mori), now promoted to lieutenant, as she gets pulled into an investigation when the body of a student activist is discovered. The case reaches back to the student massacre of 1968, and the Azules become the departmentโs last hope of stopping a killer who is delivering justice straight to the policeโs door.
August 21 features The Dynasty: UConn Huskies, a three-part documentary event chronicling the rise of the most dominant program in college basketball history. The series includes exclusive interviews with the 2025 National Championship team and legendary voices spanning generations of UConn basketball. It explores how a once-overlooked program became a global standard for excellence under coach Geno Auriemmaโs leadership.
August 28 closes the summer with Dark Matter Season 2. The sci-fi series stars Joel Edgerton as Jason Dessen, a physicist and family man who gets abducted into an alternate version of his life. Season two picks up with the Dessens as they settle into what seems like a safe life, until the unimaginable forces them to run again.
Star City and Other Titles Already Released in Late Spring
Viewers who want to catch up on earlier summer releases can still watch Star City, the For All Mankind spinoff that premiered on May 29, 2026. The series explores the space race from the Soviet perspective, acting as a paranoid thriller about the USSRโs efforts to beat the United States to the moon.
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed launched on May 20, 2026. The dark comedy-thriller stars Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson. The story follows a recently divorced mother who witnesses a potential murder during a video call, pulling her into a dangerous web of blackmail and conspiracy while she fights a custody battle.
