Story Progression So Far

Season 3 begins one year after the events in Laqua. The Rising Volt Tacklers split up after losing their leader, but a mysterious pink mist that harms Pokémon brings Liko, Roy, and their friends back together. The season follows the young Trainers as they rebuild the Rising Volt Tacklers and work to fulfill a promise made in Laqua.

Part 1 Recap

The first batch of episodes (January 6, 2026) introduced Roy’s new partner: a yellow Lucario capable of Mega Evolution. The team investigated reports of Pokémon affected by the mysterious pink mist. They also encountered Ult, a brash young Trainer who considers Roy his rival. The episodes followed the team as they reunited with former crew members of the Rising Volt Tacklers, including Orla, who was asked to build a new airship. The team also tested new devices called Strong Spheres that boost Pokémon power.

Part 2 Recap

The second batch (March 20, 2026) continued the team’s journey, including a mini-arc focusing on Mega Evolution. These episodes delved into the backstories of Roy and Ult while also promoting the game Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Key episodes included “Mega Evolution – Roy,” “Mega Evolution – Ult,” and “Mega Evolution – Bonds.”

Part 3 Story Preview

Part 3 takes the Rising Volt Tacklers to Blueberry Academy, a school dedicated to advanced battling techniques. Here, Liko, Roy, Dot, and their friends focus on intense training to prepare for their next challenges.

The official description states: “The young Pokémon Trainers know they need to train even more if they want to become strong enough to take down the Explorers and stop the spread of Laquium once and for all. In Part 3, training becomes a top priority at Blueberry Academy, where there are all kinds of Pokémon to encounter—and where Elite Four members are eager for their next battle.”

The new episodes will see the team challenge Elite Four members to sharpen their skills against the Explorers, the organization threatening to spread Laquium across the world. Mysteries surrounding Terapagos deepen as the crew works to understand its connection to Laquium.

The Brave Olivine receives a surprise message that sends everyone scrambling. Dot’s newest partner, Gimmighoul, steps into the spotlight, and the match-green tea Pokémon Sinistcha also plays a role in the new episodes. Ult continues to push the group forward as Roy’s rival.
