Samay Raina is back with another members-only bonus episode of India’s Got Latent, and this time Ayushmann Khurrana joined the panel. The comedian did not hold back, taking a sharp and funny dig at Ayushmann’s recent film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which struggled at the box office. The clip has quickly gone viral, with fans sharing the moment across social media.
Ayushmann Khurrana Joins India’s Got Latent Panel
The fourth bonus episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2 premiered on September 27, 2026, on Samay Raina’s YouTube channel, available only to channel members. The episode runs for 34 minutes and 13 seconds. Alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, the panel featured mentalist Suhani Shah, comedian Aaditya Kulshreshth (known as Kullu), and comedian Rajat Sood. Samay announced the release on his YouTube channel, writing, “Bonus episode 4 out on members only.” The episode is currently available only to YouTube members and has not been released publicly.
Ayushmann’s appearance on the show comes as he promotes two upcoming films. The makers of India’s Got Latent have been bringing different celebrity guests onto the panel throughout Season 2. Netflix also released an exclusive Season 2 episode featuring Varun Dhawan, while Samay has continued dropping bonus episodes for his YouTube members. During the episode, Samay Raina made a joke about Ayushmann’s film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which was released in theatres on May 15, 2026. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh. Samay said:
“Woh bhi dekhi thi aapki film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, woh do matlab woh do log joh film dekhne gaye the mere saath. Aur unko bhi refund hi chahiye.”
The line translates to: “I also watched your film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, and by ‘Woh Do’, I mean the two people who went to watch the movie with me. They, too, want a refund.” The joke landed well, leaving Ayushmann and the audience laughing. Samay also joked about Ayushmann’s brother Aparshakti Khurana, saying, “I love him ya. I love Aparshakti Khurana.” This left everyone in splits.
The clip from the bonus episode is now going viral on social media, with fans sharing the moment. One user on X (formerly Twitter) posted a clip with the caption, “Ayushmann Khurrana immediately regretting coming on Samay Raina – India’s Got Latent Season 2.” The post also noted that Ayushmann has two movies releasing in a span of two months: Udta Teer and Yeh Prem Mol Liya.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Performance
The joke landed because Pati Patni Aur Woh Do did not perform well at the box office. The film finished its theatrical run with an estimated lifetime collection of under ₹50 crore net in India. According to Pinkvilla, the film ended its entire box office run around ₹50 crore nett in India. Another report from Sacnilk states that the film had a total gross of ₹67.40 crore, with an India net of ₹50.87 crore and overseas earnings of ₹7.85 crore. The film was reportedly made on a budget of around ₹57 crore, meaning it struggled to recover its costs.
The film follows the story of Prajapati Pandey, a forest department officer whose life takes a drastic turn when he meets an old friend seeking his help. What starts as a mission to help a friend quickly turns into a chaotic situation, leaving Prajapati caught in a web of confusion and misunderstandings. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with several outlets noting that the comedy felt weak compared to Ayushmann’s earlier work.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Upcoming Films
Ayushmann Khurrana is currently promoting two upcoming films. The first is Udta Teer, a spy comedy starring alongside Sara Ali Khan, with whom he worked on Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. The film also stars Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar, and Smita Tambe. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain, the film arrives in cinemas on October 9, 2026. The trailer was released on September 23, 2026.
Ayushmann also has Sooraj Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya, starring alongside Sharvari. The film is a family drama produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films. The title track was revealed earlier in September 2026. The film arrives in cinemas on November 27, 2026.
