The news has shocked the public.
The identity of the person who shared YouTuber Tzuyang’s history with Gujeyeok has been revealed.
It was reported that Tzuyang’s ex-boyfriend B’s legal representative A came into contact with Gujeyeok while working for B, who had continuously assaulted Tzuyang.
According to the voice recording, A contacted Gujeyeok in February, revealing they had information regarding Tzuyang’s past. A is a CEO of a law firm and also works as a reporter for a magazine.
A introduced themselves as B’s legal representative, listed information about Tzuyang’s history, and promised to have a meeting at their law firm office.
With this information, Gujeyeok went to Tzuyang’s agency and signed a service contract worth 55,000,000 KRW ($~39,820.72 USD). After A had passed away, B signed an advisor contract with Tzuyang.
Additionally, after Tzuyang’s blackmail incident became publicized, A contacted YouTubers and reporters and introduced themselves as Tzuyang’s advisory lawyer. They also stated that Gujeyeok had not blackmailed Tzuyang.
Recently, it has been revealed that A’s advisory contract with Tzuyang was terminated after the blackmail incident became public.
I’ve already been dismissed from Tzuyang and am obliged to keep everything that has happened confidential. I will respond if Tzuyang’s gives me consent. I can’t say anything else.
— legal representative A
However, many in the legal field believe A’s actions were a violation of the Attorney-at-Law Act.
The key point is whether the lawyer acquired secrets during his/her duties. If they disclose information without the client’s consent, it violates the provisions of Article 317 of the Criminal Act.
