Recap of Episode 13: The White Room Mystery Deepens
The previous episode, which aired on June 3, 2026, brought major answers about the first-year students. Ichika Amasawa openly confirmed her connection to the White Room. This is the same secret facility where Ayanokoji was raised and trained.
The episode also revealed that there is a “special test” given to some first-year students. Their hidden mission is to get Ayanokoji expelled from the school. Fans now know that Amasawa and Hosen were working together for this purpose. Tsubasa Nanase was also aware of the plan but had doubts about going through with it.
I haven’t yet determined if Ayanokoji-senpai is worthy of being targeted that way.

Season 4 Story So Far
Classroom of the Elite Season 4 is officially titled Second Year, First Semester. The story picks up with Ayanokoji and his classmates starting their second year at the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. The school introduces a new app called the Over All Ability (OAA) system, which ranks students based on five skills.
The first special exam of the year pairs second-year students with first-year students for a written test. If a team performs poorly, only the second-year student faces expulsion. This creates a lot of pressure for Horikita and her classmates in Class 2-D.
Ayanokoji quickly realizes that one of the new first-year students comes from the White Room. This person has been sent specifically to get him kicked out of school. The tension between Ayanokoji and the mysterious first-year students has been the main focus of the season.
