The show has already generated significant interest because of its unique story. It blends elite academy life, comedy, and competitive fighting game action. The series also has an official partnership with Street Fighter 6, which means fans will see real gameplay footage in the anime.

In Japan, the anime will air on local television networks, including AT-X. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes arriving every Tuesday. The exact broadcast time has not been announced yet, but it will be revealed closer to the premiere date.

Episode 1 Story Recap

The first episode introduces Aya Mitsuki, a scholarship student at the prestigious Kuromi Girls’ Academy. Aya’s main goal is to become a refined young lady. She idolizes Mio Yorue, who is known as “White Lily” and is considered the perfect student at the school.

Everything changes when Aya accidentally discovers Mio’s secret. Behind her elegant image, Mio is actually a passionate fighting game player who even shows signs of “gamer rage” when playing. Aya catches Mio playing Street Fighter 6 on her laptop with an arcade fight stick in an abandoned classroom.

Mio asks Aya to keep her secret since gaming is forbidden at their strict school. Aya then reveals that she also loves fighting games but gave them up to become a “proper lady.” The episode ends with Mio challenging Aya to a duel, setting up their secret rivalry.
