BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Australian act Tame Impala have landed their first-ever No. 1 on Billboard’s all-format Radio Songs chart. The remix of “Dracula” climbed from No. 2 to the top spot on the chart dated September 26, Billboard announced on September 22.
The song pulled an airplay audience of 62.6 million in the United States from September 11 to 17, according to tracking firm Luminate. Radio Songs measures weekly plays across all genres on American radio stations. The achievement marks a career first for both acts.
What the No. 1 Means for Jennie and Tame Impala
Tame Impala, the music project led by Australian musician Kevin Parker, had previously come close to the Radio Songs top 10 as a co-writer and co-producer of Dua Lipa‘s “Houdini,” which peaked at No. 7 in 2024. Tame Impala first appeared on Billboard charts in 2010.
Jennie had a prior entry on Radio Songs with “One of the Girls,” her collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, which reached No. 48 in 2024. BLACKPINK, with Jennie as a member, has not yet reached the Radio Songs ranking.
Where “Dracula” Stands on Other Billboard Charts
Outside Radio Songs, “Dracula” returned to its peak of No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song previously became both Jennie’s and Tame Impala’s first top 10 hit on the main singles chart.
The track also held at No. 1 on several other Billboard charts this week:
- Hot Dance/Electronic Songs (37th week at No. 1)
- Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (19th week at No. 1)
- Adult Pop Airplay (9th week at No. 1)
“Dracula” also topped Pop Airplay for seven weeks and Alternative Airplay for two weeks. It hit No. 2 on Adult Alternative Airplay and has reached the top 15 on Adult Contemporary.
A Long Run in the Hot 100 Top 10
The remix has spent 16 weeks inside the Hot 100 top 10, making it the longest-running top-10 song by or featuring a K-pop act. The previous record was held by BTS with “Butter,” which logged 15 weeks in the top 10.
“Dracula” was originally released as a solo track by Tame Impala in October 2025. The version featuring Jennie arrived on February 6, 2026. The song gained momentum after going viral on short-form video platforms.
Parker and Jennie co-wrote “Dracula” with Sarah Aarons and Carly Gibert. Parker produced the track alone. It is released under Columbia Records.
Songwriter Sarah Aarons explained how the song came together in an interview with Billboard.
“Dracula took a long time, in the way that there are so many iterations of what it was,” Aarons said. “There was this one song that was what the chorus is — I call it the chorus, he calls it the pre-chorus. Then there was this song that we’d written called ‘Dracula’ that his wife loved. One day he just sent me a thing. He was like, ‘I put the line from “Dracula” into this other idea.’ It was the ‘run from the sun like Dracula.’ He mashed that into that one line from this other idea, and I was like, ‘Oh damn, that’s kind of sick.’”
Where to Listen
“Dracula (with JENNIE)” is available on all major streaming platforms worldwide, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music. The remix is also available as a single on Columbia Records in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, and other global markets.
