BTS member Jungkook said sorry to fans after a sound issue happened during the group’s concert in Tampa, Florida on April 25, 2026. Jungkook did not wait long to speak up about what happened. He went on his Instagram story the next day on April 26 and wrote a clear message to fans. He said yes, there was a sound issue during Magic Shop. He told fans not to worry and promised the team would fix it starting from that day. Then he added another short post that got a lot of attention. He wrote, “I am mad too.”

His honest and direct way of talking surprised many people. Most celebrities or singers might let their team handle these problems. But Jungkook chose to speak to the fans himself. He did not make excuses or blame others. He simply admitted the problem and shared his own anger about it. This is why many fans respect him even more now.

What Really Happened On Stage That Night

The problem was a technical glitch with the sound system and microphones. During Magic Shop, the audio output did not work correctly. This made the singing sound off or not matching with the music. Some people watching online and on social media thought the members were singing badly. But fans who were at the stadium had a different view.

Many fans pointed out that the issue was clearly a microphone or sound equipment problem. They said it would be impossible for all members to make the same singing mistake at the exact same time. The group kept performing without stopping the show. BTS showed their experience and professionalism on stage. They did not let the technical error ruin the whole concert.

After finishing the song, Jungkook handled the situation in a smart way. He sang his part live without any background music. This powerful move showed everyone his real singing ability. The crowd gave him a big round of applause for this.

How Fans Reacted To The News

The BTS fan community, called ARMY, quickly came to support the group. Many fans said they did not even notice any problem during the concert.

The concert was perfect and amazing. We did not hear any issues. Jungkook should not apologize for something that was not his fault.

Another fan pointed out:

Technical problems can happen at any live show. What matters is how the artists handle it. BTS handled it like the professionals they are.

Fans also praised Jungkook for being so open about his feelings. His words “I am mad too” made fans feel closer to him. They understood that he cares deeply about giving them a good show.

He is angry because he loves performing for us. That is why we love him.

Some fans also joked about the situation. Jungkook himself made a funny post later. He said, “Sorry guys the autotune stopped working yesterday. We apologize to those who heard our original voices.” This joke showed his sense of humor. But he later removed that post because not everyone understood the joke in the same way.

The Bigger Picture Of The Arirang World Tour

This Tampa concert was very important for BTS and their fans. It was the group’s first full tour since they took a break for their military service in South Korea. The last time BTS performed a full concert in the United States was in Las Vegas back in April 2022. So this return to the American stage carried a lot of emotion for everyone.

The Arirang World Tour supports their tenth studio album called ARIRANG. This album went to number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The song SWIM from this album also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The tour started on April 9, 2026 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. It has a total of 85 shows planned across many countries.

The Tampa stop had three nights of concerts on April 25, April 26, and April 28. Around 60,000 to 66,000 fans came to each show. The economic impact of these concerts is also huge. Local news channel 10 Tampa Bay reported that the BTS concert series could bring $800 to $900 million to the Tampa area.

More Tour Dates And What Comes Next

The group will continue their North American tour across 12 cities with 31 performances. Many shows sold out very quickly. The demand was so high that organizers added more shows in cities like Tampa, Stanford, and Las Vegas.

The next stop will be at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas on May 2 and May 3, 2026. This is a historic moment because it marks the first time a Korean artist holds a solo concert at this location.

Jungkook confirmed that the sound issue would be fixed starting from the second night of the Tampa shows. He said this directly in his Instagram story. The group’s management team has not made any separate public statement about the incident.
