MTV Roadies returns for its 21st season with a new title, a new format, and a new streaming strategy. The season will be available for streaming on both platforms from day one, which means viewers in India can choose either Netflix or JioHotstar to watch new episodes. The show will also broadcast on MTV India on the same days.

Rannvijay Singha Returns as Host
Rannvijay Singha is back as the host of Roadies Rebirth. His connection to the franchise goes back to 2003, when he entered the first season as a contestant and won it. He later hosted the show from Season 2 to Season 10. When Roadies moved to the Gang Leader format in 2015, he took on the role of a mentor and strategist.
Singha’s return was announced on August 28, 2026, alongside the reveal of the season’s Phoenix-themed logo on MTV and JioHotstar social media handles. The logo represents the idea of rebirth and a fresh start for the long-running adventure reality show.
OGs vs NewGs Format Explained
Roadies Rebirth introduces a new competition structure called OGs vs NewGs. For the first time, six Gang Leaders will be part of the season, but they will not lead six separate gangs. Instead, they are divided into two larger teams.

Nikhil Chinapa and Neha Dhupia are familiar faces from earlier Roadies seasons. Prince Narula has been part of the show as both a contestant and a Gang Leader. Abhishek Malhan brings a large digital following from his previous reality show appearances. Baseer Ali was previously a Roadies contestant and returns in a different role. Bani J has competed on and hosted Roadies in the past.
Auditions and Roadies Rebirth Production
Auditions for Roadies Rebirth were held across four cities in September 2026: Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and Pune. The Delhi audition took place on September 5, followed by Chandigarh on September 7. Kolkata hosted auditions on September 10, and Pune followed on September 12.
The Gang Leaders were introduced during these audition events, giving fans a first look at how the OG-versus-NewG concept will work on screen. The audition process is part of the pre-production phase before the main competition begins.
Farrhana Bhatt was speculated to join the season as a Gang Leader, but she confirmed she would not be part of Roadies 21. In a statement, she said she decided to take a break from physically intense shows after participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
