BLACKPINK’s Lisa made a striking return to the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet on Sunday, September 27, wearing a sheer red dress by The Attico layered under a dramatic faux-fur coat by Quine Li. The 29-year-old K-pop star arrived at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles in an all-red look that quickly became one of the night’s most talked-about fashion moments.
The red carpet appearance came just hours before Lisa made history as the first Asian solo artist to win Best Pop at the VMAs. She also delivered a high-energy performance of her new single “SaWaDiKa“ and changed outfits multiple times throughout the evening.
The Red Carpet Look: The Attico Dress and Quine Li Coat
Lisa’s red carpet outfit centered on a form-fitting, sheer red dress by Italian brand The Attico. The dress featured a corseted bodice with sheer panels on the sides of her torso and extended into a column silhouette that reached the floor. The Attico, founded by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, is known for its bold evening wear, and this piece matched the brand’s signature style.
Draped over her shoulders was a voluminous faux-fur coat by Quine Li, a New York-based label led by designer Kuai Li. Backstage after her win, Lisa changed once more into a red bodysuit with the same “LISA WORLDWIDE” branding, layered with a black strappy corset at the waist and nude mesh stockings. She topped this with another large white fur coat, creating a red-and-white color contrast different from her red carpet look.
The Historic Best Pop Win
Lisa’s Best Pop win came for her song “Dream,” featuring Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. She beat out nominees including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo, and Charli xcx. The victory made her the first Asian solo artist and first K-pop solo artist to win in the Best Pop category at the VMAs.
