The first episode, titled “The Innovator,” set the stage for a darker season. It showed Lucy and The Ghoul forming a reluctant partnership, following Hank’s trail to a derelict Vault 24 near Novac. Meanwhile, Hank himself returned to an empty Vault-Tec facility, hinting at his deeper, ongoing mission for the company. Norm made a risky choice in Vault 31 by releasing the frozen Vault-Tec executives, a move that will likely have major consequences.
Showrunner Graham Wagner explained the team’s approach to iconic game elements, saying, “We wanted to get Deathclaws, but we didn’t want to just throw it away… We want to save something for Season 2 to be able to do it properly.”
While an official plot summary for Episode 2 is not yet available, the direction is clear. The story will follow Lucy and The Ghoul as they continue their journey toward the glittering lights of New Vegas. Viewers can also expect to learn more about The Ghoul’s past and his connections to Vault-Tec. The season will consist of eight episodes total, releasing weekly every Wednesday through February 4, 2026.
