Netflix is giving Stranger Things fans a way to own the entire series permanently. The streaming giant has teamed up with Arrow Films to release Stranger Things: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD for the first time. The massive 25-disc collection hits shelves in late July 2026 and comes packed with bonus features and collectible items.
The announcement marks a rare physical media release for a Netflix original series. While most Netflix shows remain exclusively on the streaming platform, the enormous popularity of the Duffer Brothers’ creation has earned it a special treatment. The complete series set will include all 42 episodes from the show’s five seasons, which concluded earlier this year.

Fans in different regions will get the box set on slightly different dates. The collection arrives on July 27, 2026 in the United Kingdom, and on July 28, 2026 in the United States and Canada.

Why This Physical Release Matters for Netflix and Fans
Netflix shows rarely make the jump to physical media. Only a handful of the streamer’s biggest originals have received DVD or Blu-ray releases. Stranger Things joining that small group shows just how massive the series has become over its nearly ten-year run.
The show first premiered in 2016 and quickly turned into a global phenomenon. The first four seasons amassed over 1.2 billion views worldwide. The fifth and final season premiered in late 2025 and delivered Netflix’s most-watched New Year’s Day with its series finale on December 31, 2025. The final season also pushed seasons 1 through 4 back into Netflix’s global Top 10 for eight straight weeks.
Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of the series, shared their excitement about the physical release. They said, “We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety, not just as a collector’s set, but as a way to preserve the show for decades to come.”
Dean Lawson, Arrow Films’ director of sales and marketing, explained what went into creating this definitive collection. “Working with the Netflix team and the Duffer Brothers to bring the definitive physical media release of Stranger Things to fans has been a phenomenal project for Arrow to be a part of. The show is colossal in influence and scale, is beloved globally, has transcended generations, and has been a huge part of the cultural conversation for nearly 10 years now. We at Arrow are thrilled to play a part in bringing this landmark show to physical media and believe we’ve created a boxset that fans will be delighted to own, packed with bonus features, curios, and memorabilia from the world of Stranger Things.”
A Look Back at Stranger Things Journey to the Final Season
The Stranger Things story began in 2016 as a love letter to 1980s genre films. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the show follows a group of kids who stumble upon supernatural mysteries, secret government experiments, and a dangerous alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
The fifth and final season brought the story to an end in a big way. Netflix released Season 5 in three parts, with the first four episodes debuting on November 26, 2025. The next three episodes arrived on December 25, 2025, and the series finale dropped on December 31, 2025. The finale was also shown in select North American theaters, where it earned at least $25 million during its opening week.
Season 5 broke records right out of the gate. It pulled in 59.6 million views during its first weekend, setting a new record for the biggest opening weekend for an English-language Netflix series.
The complete cast returned for the final season, including Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, and Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield.
