Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has dropped his seventh studio album, “Swag”, as a surprise release on July 11, 2025. The 21-track project marks his first full-length album in four years, following 2021โs “Justice”.
The album includes collaborations with artists like Gunna, Sexyy Red, Lil B, Druski, Dijon, Cash Cobain, Eddie Benjamin, and gospel singer Marvin Winans. Bieber also worked with producers such as Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, and Mk.gee to create a mix of R&B, pop, and experimental sounds.
How Justin Bieber Announced ‘Swag’
Fans first noticed mysterious billboards in cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Reykjavรญk, Iceland, with the word “SWAG” and images of Bieber. Later, a billboard in Times Square revealed the full tracklist.
Bieber confirmed the album by reposting fan reactions on Instagram, including a message from fellow artist The Kid Laroi, who wrote:
“If you don’t listen to this album when it drops we can’t be friends.”
The singer also shared photos from the album cover shoot, which featured his wife Hailey Bieber and their son Jack Blues Bieber, born in August 2024.
Key Tracks and Features
The album blends emotional themes with upbeat tracks. Some highlights include:
- “Way It Is” (feat. Gunna) โ A smooth R&B track where Bieber and Gunna harmonize.
- “Dadz Love” (feat. Lil B) โ A song about fatherhood and positivity.
- “Therapy Session” (feat. Druski) โ A humorous yet honest conversation about mental health.
- “Forgiveness” (by Marvin Winans) โ A gospel-inspired closing track.
Bieber also included a skit called “Standing On Business”, referencing his viral moment with paparazzi where he said:
“Itโs not clocking to you that Iโm standing on business, is it? Iโm a human being, youโre standing around my car, at the beach!”
What Makes This Album Different
“Swag” reflects Bieberโs personal growth, touching on fatherhood, faith, and mental health. In March 2025, he posted on Instagram about feeling “unworthy”, and in June, he opened up about struggling with “anger issues”.
The album also shows his experimental side, with tracks like “Yukon” and “Zuma House” straying from his usual pop sound. Singer Dijon, who worked on the album, praised Bieber on Instagram:
“Congratulations @lilbieber for making a wild and deeply inspiring record. Grateful to have been able to witness and be a tiny part of a beautiful thing. Humbled!”
Where to Listen
“Swag” is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. A digital version is also sold on Bieberโs official store for $11.99.
