The New York Knicks are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999, and one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples was right in the middle of all the action. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet brought their star power to Rocket Arena in Cleveland on May 25, where they watched the Knicks destroy the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The win gave the Knicks a clean 4-0 series sweep and their first Finals ticket in 27 years.
The couple sat courtside alongside comedian Tracy Morgan, and cameras caught every emotional moment as the final buzzer sounded. What followed was a night of pure joy, public displays of affection, and some unforgettable fan moments from the A Complete Unknown actor and the Kylie Cosmetics founder.
Matching Knicks Outfits and Courtside Kisses
Jenner and Chalamet showed up to the game in coordinated team-inspired looks that turned heads before tip-off. Jenner kept it simple in a blue Knicks T-shirt paired with a black Chanel tote bag. Chalamet went with a leather Knicks jacket featuring the team’s logo, plus baggy grey jeans and Timberland boots.
Throughout the game, the couple did not hold back their excitement. One viral clip showed them sharing a kiss courtside while the action unfolded on the court. Another video captured the pair hugging, jumping, and cheering as the Knicks pulled further ahead. The Knicks led by as many as 45 points during the game, giving fans plenty of reasons to celebrate early.
‘We’re Going to the Finals!’ Chalamet Screams After Historic Win
Once the game ended, Chalamet completely let loose. Videos posted across social media show the 30-year-old actor running onto the court and screaming at the top of his lungs.
“We’re going to the finals!”
Chalamet shouted the words repeatedly as Jenner celebrated right next to him. In another clip, he was seen yelling ‘Let’s go!’ while standing next to Tracy Morgan, who appeared to be holding back tears after the win.
Chalamet also had several personal moments with Knicks players during the on-court celebration. He found Mikal Bridges and told him:
“Bro, I got your jersey in my house.”
He then called Bridges ‘The GOAT’.
Later, he linked up with Jalen Brunson, who was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP. Chalamet called Brunson ‘the king’ before the two shared a warm embrace. Brunson finished the game with 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting.
Jenner Reunites With Jordyn Woods During Celebration
The night also brought an unexpected reunion for Jenner. After the game, she was seen hugging Karl-Anthony Towns and immediately asking, ‘Where’s Jordyn at?!’ Towns’ fiancée is Jordyn Woods, who was once Jenner’s best friend before their public falling out in 2019.
Woods later joined the group, and the two posed for pictures along with Towns, Chalamet, and Tracy Morgan. Jenner was even spotted hugging Elizabeth Woods, Jordyn’s mother, showing that past problems may now be fully behind them.
Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, and Other Celebs Join the Party
Chalamet and Jenner were far from the only famous faces in Cleveland for the big game. Spike Lee, one of the Knicks’ most loyal celebrity fans, was also courtside and celebrated with the team after the win. Lee told reporters after the game:
“This is a team.”
He then started naming players from the 1973 Knicks, the last New York team to win an NBA championship.
Ben Stiller, Fat Joe, Patrick Ewing, and Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier were also at Rocket Arena to witness the historic moment. Tracy Morgan, who sat right next to Chalamet and Jenner, brought a homemade sign that predicted ‘Knicks in Four’ — and his prediction came true.
Morgan, a 57-year-old comedian and diehard Knicks fan, got emotional after the win. Videos show him standing on the court with his hands over his head, completely silent and tearing up. Morgan was a cast member on Saturday Night Live the last time the Knicks made the Finals in 1999.
Knicks’ Historic Playoff Run Continues With 11 Straight Wins
The Knicks did not just beat the Cavaliers — they destroyed them. The team went on a 20-0 run from the late first quarter into the second quarter and built leads as large as 45 points. The victory marked the team’s 11th straight postseason win, extending one of the most dominant playoff runs in NBA history.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the team with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Landry Shamet added 16 points off the bench, while Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson each scored 15.
After the game, Towns tried to keep his team focused on what comes next.
“The celebrations were minimal. We really wanna get back to work,” Towns told reporters. “We know what happened last time we had the long layoff. That’s what’s made us special and it’s what’s gonna give us a chance to win the next series.”
