Haerin’s Year-End Photo Dump
On January 8, Haerin posted several photos on NewJeans‘ Instagram account, “jeanzforfree,” as a way to share some memories from the past year. In the caption, she wrote, “[A little late year-end review. Next time, I’ll post some landscape photos, too.”
The Scribbled Polaroid
The final picture in the post showed two polaroid photos of all five NewJeans members. However, Minji’s face was covered with black marker scribbles in both photos. Upon closer inspection, it looks like Haerin drew on Minji’s face directly with the marker.
The Reason Behind the “Censoring”
At first, fans were curious about why Minji’s face was covered.
But they quickly realized it was Haerin getting back at Minji, who had previously covered Haerin’s face in a photo using a car sticker.
