Rashmika Mandanna’s character in the upcoming film “Kubera” seems to be shrouded in mystery, going by the first look promo unveiled today, July 5. The promo offers a glimpse into the plot of the film, which appears to revolve around money. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, “Kubera” also stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna in lead roles.

The 48-second video shared by Rashmika on her social media shows her character, dressed in a pink suit, venturing into a deserted area at night. She is carrying an iron rod and shovel. She cautiously looks around before she starts digging the ground. Anticipation builds as she uncovers a massive suitcase. Elated, she opens it to reveal a windfall – the suitcase is brimming with cash! She then walks away with her newfound treasure.
This first look follows the release of Dhanush‘s intriguing look from the film in March, which had fans excited. In May, Nagarjuna‘s look was also revealed. “Kubera” is a grand “mythological pan-Indian” film also featuring Jim Sarbh. It is being produced under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages across India, though the release date is yet to be announced. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Nikeh Bommi and editing by Karthika Srinivas.
Apart from “Kubera”, Rashmika Mandanna has a busy line-up of films. She will be seen opposite Allu Arjun in the sequel to the blockbuster “Pushpa: The Rise”, titled “Pushpa: The Rule”. She also has several other projects in the pipeline, including “Sikandar”, “Chhava”, “The Girlfriend”, and “Rainbow”.
