The hit Korean thriller The Manipulated is set to drop its next two episodes, continuing the intense cat-and-mouse game between a framed man and his mysterious enemy. Episodes 9 and 10 will release together on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The new chapters arrive after a cliffhanger that left the main character staring at a scene of brutal murder, pushing the story into its final stages.
Fans can watch the new episodes globally on Disney+ and in the United States on Hulu. The release is scheduled for 8:00 AM GMT / 3:00 AM ET / 1:30 PM IST / 5:00 PM KST. Each episode typically runs for about 46 minutes. The series, which stars Ji Chang-wook and Doh Kyung-soo, has a total of 12 episodes, with the two-part season finale expected on December 3.
The Story So Far
The Manipulated tells the story of an ordinary man named Park Tae-joong, played by Ji Chang-wook. His life is destroyed when he is falsely accused and imprisoned for a terrible crime he did not commit. While in prison, he uncovers a chilling truth: his downfall was not an accident. A man named An Yo-han, portrayed by Doh Kyung-soo, deliberately planned every step of his framing.
Fueled by a desire for revenge and the need to clear his name, Tae-joong begins to fight back from within the prison walls. The plot follows his dangerous journey as he navigates a world of violence and shifting alliances, all while trying to expose the powerful forces working against him.

What Happened in Episodes 7 and 8?
The most recent episodes ended with a major shock for Tae-joong. After being directed to a factory by his enemy Yo-han, he arrived to find all of Yo-han’s employees dead. This was a brutal cleanup operation, leaving Tae-joong with no one to question and no immediate answers.
This event seems to mark a turning point. Yo-han appears to be shifting his strategy from simply blocking Tae-joong to actively steering him. He left a clear message pointing Tae-joong toward his next target: a VIP client named Baek Do-kyoung, played by Lee Kwang-soo. This move pushes Tae-joong from being a victim on the run to a pursuer on the offensive.
Meanwhile, Yo-han is facing growing pressure from his own powerful clients who want the “Tae-joong problem” resolved. The system of manipulation he built is now under threat, forcing him to make riskier moves.
What to Expect in Episodes 9 and 10
The upcoming episodes are expected to focus on Tae-joong’s new mission. The title for Episode 9 is reportedly “Trap’s End,” suggesting a critical confrontation. The story will likely see Tae-joong actively hunting Baek Do-kyoung, following the digital and financial clues linked to an account called “@d__kyung”.
This pursuit will force Tae-joong to use new skills, possibly investigating online records and surveillance footage to track his target. His goal may shift from just saving himself to preventing Yo-han’s organization from framing its next victim. Yo-han will probably continue his manipulative games, watching and guiding Tae-joong’s hunt from a distance rather than trying to stop it entirely.
Other characters are also set for bigger roles. Eun-bi, played by Jo Yoon-su, who has been providing shelter and aid, may see her involvement deepen. The show has also hinted at potential romantic tension between her and Tae-joong. Additionally, the law enforcement characters, Hwang and Yang, are expected to increase the pressure as they get closer to the locations where Tae-joong is hiding.
