Big Bang member Daesung may have just spilled the beans on G-Dragon’s upcoming solo concert. The unexpected revelation occurred during Taeyang’s solo concert, “THE LIGHT YEAR,” held at Inspire Arena in Incheon on February 1 KST, where both Daesung and G-Dragon made guest appearances.
A Slip of the Tongue or a Planned Tease?
Following a performance of “Wings,” Daesung addressed the audience, mentioning the exciting events planned for the year. He stated, “It seems like there are a lot of good things happening this year. There’s Taeyang’s concert in February, and there’s G-Dragon’s concert in March…” This comment seemingly confirmed rumors of a G-Dragon solo concert, which had been circulating among fans. Daesung’s statement appears to have jumped the gun on any official announcement from G-Dragon’s team.
Daesung Hints at His Own Future Plans
Daesung also opened up about his personal anxieties regarding performing for fans. He shared his concerns about whether fans would be interested in his performances, admitting, “Will someone be watching me with their arms crossed?” and “Will they pay money and make time to come?” He described himself as “very conservative,” explaining that he needs someone to initiate projects for him. This is the reason, Daesung said, he did not establish his own company. However, he did hint at his own performance plans, saying, “Maybe in February or March, I’ll take over the baton and perform in Korea soon.”
