Season 5 picks up in the fall of 1987, mere months after the devastating events of the Season 4 finale. - Eleven, the Warrior: Millie Bobby Brown described Eleven’s mindset as being in a “warrior state.” She explained, “All she is thinking about is protecting her friends. Her friends are her chosen family, so she will do whatever it takes to protect them.”
- Mike Wheeler, the Leader: Finn Wolfhard stated that “Mike is back in leadership mode,” taking a more active role in planning missions to find and defeat Vecna.
