BTS’ V recently joined Jimin and Jungkook on a trip to Jeju Island, and the reason behind his last-minute decision had fans in stitches. The latest episode of the Disney+ original series Are You Sure?! showcased the trio enjoying their time on the island, with some unexpected and amusing moments.
V’s Last-Minute Decision to Join the Jeju Trip
The trip began with Jungkook and Jimin planning their visit to Jeju Island. During the show, Jungkook playfully suggested, “How about we film the next episode of ‘Are You Sure?!’ in Jeju Island?” He added humorously, “Let’s have mackerel rice wraps. You like mackerel. I hope you get food poisoning again, like last time.”
In an interview, V explained why he ended up joining them:
“I saw on the BTS schedule that I wasn’t included in the Jeju trip. I said, ‘Why am I being left out? I want to go too,’ so that’s how I ended up joining.”
Jungkook humorously remarked on V‘s persistence, saying, “He was pretty persistent about it.” When V asked if he was just a guest for one episode, Jungkook laughed and replied:
“You might end up being the first and last guest.”
Hilarious Moments on the Road and at the Restaurant
As they set off in a small car, V joked about the cramped space:
“This car is so tiny. It reminds me of my old car.”
During the journey, Jimin wasn’t feeling well and expressed his discomfort:
“I can’t eat. If I do, I’ll probably throw up.”
Upon arriving at a restaurant, Jimin noticed that Jungkook and V had gone ahead and humorously complained:
“Why did you leave me behind? We should have gone together.”
While looking out at the ocean, V asked, “Is that a fish splashing around?” Jimin playfully responded:
“No. It’s not. Stop saying that—It’s a friend who lives in the blue house.”
Later, as they were served grilled cutlassfish and kimchi stew, Jimin offered to help V with his meal:
“Do you know how to debone cutlassfish? Should I do it for you?”
Jungkook revealed the real reason behind V‘s request:
“Taehyung asked you to do it because he’s too lazy to do it himself.”
As Jimin tried to debone the fish, he struggled and attempted to start a conversation by asking, “Do you know Aewol?” However, Jungkook and V were too focused on eating, which added to the humor of the situation.
The Chase and the Unscripted Teaser Moment
After the meal, Jimin began wrapping lettuce for V, saying:
“I need to make some wraps for my friend.”
V quickly ran away, but Jimin was relentless, even losing his shoes in the process, insisting:
“Come eat the wrap!”
V found the situation amusing and commented:
“I think we just filmed a teaser. Jimin is relentless; he doesn’t give up.”
The fun continued as Jimin and V drove off, with Jungkook following on his bike. The trio sang along to J-Hope‘s “Arson” as it played in the background. When V mumbled the lyrics, Jimin couldn’t help but react:
“Is this why you wanted to play this song? You don’t even know the lyrics?”
V sheepishly apologized:
“Sorry. I’m not good with lyrics, only with the choreography.”
