When and Where to Watch Neagley Season 1

Prime Video will release all eight episodes of Neagley on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The show premieres in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide at the same moment the Reacher Season 4 finale drops. Viewers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and India can watch the full season on the same day through the Prime Video app and website.

The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Lee Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs, and Lisa Kussner also executive produce. Sam Hill directed the first two episodes.

Maria Sten Returns as Frances Neagley

Maria Sten steps into the lead role after playing Frances Neagley across multiple seasons of Reacher. Her character is a former member of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit and a close friend of Jack Reacher. She now works as a private investigator in Chicago.

Sten is a Danish actress, writer, and director born in Copenhagen. She was crowned Miss Denmark 2008 and competed at Miss Universe before moving into acting. Her earlier credits include Swamp Thing, Channel Zero, and Narcissa. She has also written for the TV series Big Sky.

Showrunner Nick Santora described the character’s unique place in the Reacher world at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026. He called Reacher a “Silverback Gorilla,” then added that Neagley is “like the cute little kitten that crawls around on his shoulders.” Sten has said the character’s complexity drew her to the role, and she has teased that the new series will explore Neagley’s backstory in greater depth.

Alan Ritchson Guest Stars as Jack Reacher

Alan Ritchson appears as Jack Reacher in a guest role. His character shares a deep history with Neagley from their Army days. In the trailer, Reacher shows up during a fight scene and tells Neagley, “You know you could have called me if you needed help.” She replies, “You always have my back.”

What the Story Is About

Frances Neagley learns that a close friend from her past has died in what looks like a suspicious accident. She refuses to accept the easy answer and starts digging. Her search leads her to a group that presents itself as a helpful organization but is actually a cult. Using the skills she learned from Jack Reacher and her time in the 110th Special Investigations Unit, she puts herself in danger to uncover the truth. The trailer shows knife fights, car chases, and Neagley promising to burn the cult compound to the ground.

The series was created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, who previously worked together on Prison Break. Santora also developed the main Reacher series based on Lee Child’s books.
