The fifth and final season of The Boys is already three episodes in, and fans are waiting for the fourth episode to drop on Prime Video. Episode 3 ended with major twists, and all signs point to Episode 4 being the moment where the main series finally brings in characters from the spin-off show Gen V.
Eric Kripke, the showrunner, has already confirmed that Jaz Sinclair‘s character Marie Moreau and other Gen V supes will appear in Season 5. Episode 4, which comes out on April 22, 2026, might be the perfect time for that crossover to happen.

Season 5 has eight episodes total. After Episode 4, new episodes will come out every Wednesday until the series finale on May 20, 2026. Each episode runs for about one hour.
Fort Harmony Could Be the Bridge Between The Boys and Gen V
Episode 3 of Season 5 introduced Fort Harmony, an old and secret Vought facility. This place is where the earliest Compound V experiments happened. The show is now focusing on V-One, the first version of Compound V that could make Homelander immortal.
Fort Harmony is important because Gen V also deals with secret experiments and dangerous V variants. The spin-off show, set at Godolkin University, showed how Vought tested on young supes. This shared history makes Fort Harmony the perfect location to connect both shows.
The creators are not just putting Fort Harmony in the show for no reason. It connects directly to the themes both shows share. If Episode 4 takes the Boys to this location, it becomes very easy to bring in the Gen V characters without making the story feel forced.
Gen V Characters Already Have a History in The Boys
This is not the first time Gen V characters have appeared in the main show. In Season 4, Episode 5 (titled “Beware of the Jabberwock, My Son”), Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips) and Sam Riordan (Asa Germann) made cameo appearances at the V52 fan convention. They were on stage promoting a fake show called “Flipped.”
That same episode also showed Tek Knight announcing his own movie. More importantly, the episode centered on the supe-killing virus that was first introduced in Gen V. The Boys team went to a farm to find the virus, but most of it was already gone. Only one dose remained.
So the connection between the two shows is already there. Season 5 is now building on that foundation.
Showrunner Confirmed Gen V Crossover for Season 5
Eric Kripke has said in interviews that Marie Moreau and other Gen V characters will enter The Boys’ world near the end of Season 5. Since Episode 4 is the exact middle of the final season (episode 4 out of 8), this could be the episode he was talking about.
Season 5’s first two episodes did not show any Gen V characters directly. The show chose to focus on the original cast first. But Marie was mentioned briefly. Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) talked about Marie leading a team and getting some wins in Pittsburgh.
This slow approach makes sense. The show is getting viewers ready for the crossover instead of suddenly dropping new characters into the middle of the story.
How Fort Harmony Connects to Gen V Storylines
Fort Harmony is not just another Vought base. The show is building it up as a major location tied to the very first Compound V experiments. This matters because Gen V already showed how Vought experimented on young supes at Godolkin University.
The experiments at Godolkin included testing different versions of Compound V. Some of those experiments went very wrong. Fort Harmony likely holds the history of the original V-One formula that is causing all the problems in Season 5.
If Episode 4 takes the Boys to Fort Harmony, the show could reveal connections to Godolkin University and the experiments that created the Gen V characters in the first place. Maybe there are still test subjects there. Maybe there are records of what Vought did in the early days.
This type of storytelling works because it does not feel like a random crossover. It feels like the shows were always connected.
Fans Are Waiting to See Marie Moreau Join the Fight
Jaz Sinclair plays Marie Moreau, a supe who can control blood. She is the main character of Gen V, and fans have been waiting to see her join the main show. Marie’s powers are extremely strong, and some fans believe she could be a real threat to Homelander.
The first two episodes of Season 5 introduced a new teen supe team called Teenage Kix. This group is a parody of the Teen Titans. The Boys attacked them to test a virus on two of their members. Some fans think this was a way to show how the show is handling younger supes before bringing in the Gen V cast.
If Episode 4 brings in Marie, Emma Meyer (Lizze Broadway), Andre Anderson (Chance Perdomo) — though Chance Perdomo tragically passed away in March 2024 — and other Gen V characters, it would be a major moment for the series.

Why Episode 4 Is the Right Time for the Crossover
Episode 3 already set up the Fort Harmony storyline. Episode 4 will likely continue that thread. The timing works perfectly because the season is at its halfway point. The show has already reintroduced all the main characters and set up the conflict around V-One.
Bringing in the Gen V characters now gives them enough time to matter in the final four episodes. It also gives the show a chance to use their powers and knowledge to help the Boys fight Homelander.
The Boys has always been smart about its world-building. The show did not just forget about Gen V after Season 4. Instead, the creators have been slowly building toward this moment. Episode 4 could be when everything comes together.
