Netizens and fans express growing concern for the GOT7 member’s well-being.
Netizens have recently expressed worry over GOT7’s BamBam and his mental health. This concern began in July when BamBam posted an alarming message on Instagram, where he revealed feeling overwhelmed.
“I just want to sleep and don’t wake up so I can finally rest.”

Although BamBam followed up with a message trying to reassure fans, Ahgases (GOT7’s fanbase) remained worried.
“It’s been a long run from last year till now and still a long way to go… It was a lot of pressure and stress… Sometimes I’m getting sensitive and emotional… I’ll be okay. Sorry if I caused any worry.”

Recent Tour and Emotional Speech
BamBam is currently on his 2024 BAMESIS Showcase Tour. During his concert in Manila last month, he gave a heartfelt speech, confessing his ongoing struggles with happiness.
“I feel like the more you grow up, the happy days keep getting less… I feel unhappy more than I feel happy these days. I just want to be honest because you guys are the only people that I can talk to.”
— BamBam
Despite his personal battles, BamBam encouraged his fans to find happiness even if he couldn’t. He credited their energy as a source of comfort, especially during his performances.
If this world (is) not gonna allow me to be so happy, at least I want to give my energy to you guys so y’all can be happy more. So, Ahgase, please, at least for me, please be happy for me, all right? And then someday … maybe when I need that energy, please, y’all can cheer me up and be there for me, so thank you. Not gonna cry, not gonna cry. …I have a lot of things going on in my mind right now, but then every time, the only place that I feel free and I feel like happy these days is meeting you guys on stage … so the stage is like a playground for me right now. When I’m by myself, I kinda think a lot, so I appreciate you guys come out here and have a good time for me.

Addressing Fans’ Concerns
Then he apologized on X (formerly Twitter) for his negativity, promising to take a break and come back more positive.
“The past 2 weeks I want to say sorry for being so negative and sensitive. I will take some time off for myself and will come back as a positive BamBam again.”
— BamBam
Yet, BamBam has posted more alarming posts recently that have made everyone more concerned. On September 29, he shared an Instagram story saying he would be “gone for good” in 2025.
BamBam also posted on X, saying, “I hope you had good night.” Ah Ahgase commented on the post, expressing their concern, to which he replied, “People around me is the reason i’m dying.”
A few days ago, BamBam shared Justin Bieber‘s “Changes” via his X and Instagram Stories on his way back home to Thailand.
Ahgases have been hoping BamBam would get the rest and help he needs, as his recent posts are concerning everyone, including non-fans and his celebrity friends.
His posts have left many fans, non-fans, and even celebrities worried for his well-being. Fellow GOT7 member Jackson Wang publicly reached out to BamBam via X, offering his support and calling out the industry for its pressures.
BamBam’s Response
On October 4, during his showcase in Chiang Mai, BamBam acknowledged the supportive messages he had received. He addressed his fans’ concerns, as well as Jackson’s kind words.
BamBam’s honesty has touched the hearts of many, and his fans continue to rally behind him, hoping he gets the help and rest he needs.
