The new rom-com drama ‘Queen of Tears’ from tvN will premiere on March 9 on Netflix
Queen of Tears is a new romantic comedy drama that will feature Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun as a married couple who face a crisis in their relationship. The drama is written by Park Ji Eun, who is known for her hit dramas such as Crash Landing on You, My Love From the Star, and The Legend of the Blue Sea. The drama is co-directed by Kim Hee Won and Jang Young Woo, who have worked on dramas such as Vincenzo, Crowned Clown, and Entourage.
Kim Ji Won plays Hong Hae In, the heiress of the Queens Group and the queen of the department store industry. She is cold and stoic, and has high standards for everything. Kim Soo Hyun plays Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of the Queens Group and the son of a rural village. He is smart and warm, and has a humble background. The two of them get married against all odds, but soon face a disaster that threatens their love.
