Drake’s latest album rollout took a wild turn when a local content creator literally broke through a giant ice structure to find the hidden release date. The Toronto rapper turned his album announcement into a real-life treasure hunt that ended with one streamer getting a cash reward.
The stunt began when Drake placed a massive ice installation in downtown Toronto and told fans the ICEMAN release date was buried inside. What followed was a chaotic scene of fans armed with tools, police intervention, and one determined streamer who walked away with the prize.
Who Is Kishka? The Toronto Streamer Who Cracked the Ice Mystery
Kishka is a Toronto-based Twitch streamer who focuses on real-life content. He has 21,400 followers on Twitch, over 24,000 subscribers on YouTube, more than 31,000 followers on Instagram, and upwards of 65,000 followers on TikTok. His online presence grew from videos showing pranks, police chases involving fireworks, and late-night city adventures.
The streamer describes himself as a graduate of Streamers University on his Twitch profile. He mostly streams in the “just chatting” category, mixing indoor broadcasts with outdoor content. His recent streams covering the ICEMAN hunt became his most popular videos, with one titled “Burning Down ICEMAN Final” pulling in 129,000 views.
How Kishka Retrieved the Hidden Release Date
The ice structure stood 25 feet tall in a parking lot near Dundas and Bond streets in Toronto. Drake posted coordinates on Instagram with the message “Release date inside.” Crowds quickly gathered, and people started climbing the structure with various tools.
Kishka arrived prepared with a sledgehammer and other equipment. He climbed to the top of the ice blocks, smashed sections with his hammer, and even used fire to melt through the frozen layers. Other fans joined in, breaking off individual chunks as large pieces of ice fell to the ground.
Toronto police received calls about the situation around 11 p.m. on Monday. Officers stayed at the location to control crowds and ensure safety, as people climbing the structure created dangerous conditions. Despite the police presence, Kishka kept working until he found a blue waterproof bag stamped with the words “Freeze the world.”
The Delivery to Drake’s House
After finding the bag, Kishka received a FaceTime call from streamer Adin Ross, who is friends with Drake. Ross told him the bag contained the ICEMAN release date and urged him to go to Drake’s house, teasing that “something exclusive” and “a big surprise” waited for him.
Kishka drove to Drake’s residence while still streaming. Matte Babel, Drake’s creative director, welcomed him inside the gates. The streamer opened the bag on a table set up in the driveway, revealing a booklet showing May 15 as the release date.
Drake confirmed the date on Instagram shortly after, posting a simple graphic that read “ICEMAN MAY 15” in red and blue lettering.
Inside the bag with the booklet were stacks of cash, reportedly $100,000, as a reward for finding the hidden information. Drake appeared at his window and waved to Kishka during the livestream.

What to Know About Drake’s ‘ICEMAN’ Album
ICEMAN will be Drake’s ninth solo studio album and his first full-length release since For All the Dogs in 2023. The album drops on May 15, 2026.
Drake first started teasing this project back in 2024. He posted about Val Kilmer’s “Iceman” character from Top Gun on social media and shared a screenshot of a folder labeled “2.0 – Iceman” that appeared to contain songs for the record.
The promotion picked up speed in July 2025 when Drake started a YouTube livestream series called “Iceman Episode 1.” During these streams, he previewed several tracks that later came out as singles. These include “What Did I Miss?,” “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “Dog House” featuring Julia Wolf and Yeat.
Before the ice installation stunt, Drake pulled another frozen-themed publicity move at a Toronto Raptors game. He had his courtside seating area appear to “freeze” during the match against the Brooklyn Nets.
The ICEMAN album marks Drake’s first solo project after his public feud with Kendrick Lamar, which reached its peak in spring 2024 when Lamar released the diss track “Not Like Us.”
