See You at Work Tomorrow!, the new workplace rom-com K-drama starring Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun, premiered its first two episodes on June 22 and 23, 2026. The series, based on the hit Kakao webtoon by McQueen Studio, follows the story of Cha Ji-yoon, a seventh-year office worker who is tired of work and dating, and her prickly boss Kang Si-woo, known as the “Three No Man” because he doesn’t smile, keeps people at a distance, and rarely apologizes.
The first episodes set the stage for a classic office romance, blending workplace satire with growing romantic tension. The series airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. KST and is available for global streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Episode 1: The “Clock-In and Clock-Out Fairy” Meets Her Match
Episode 1 introduces viewers to Cha Ji-yoon (Park Ji-hyun), a talented product planner at Saeum Electronics who has earned the nickname “clock-in and clock-out fairy” for her strict adherence to leaving the office on time. Despite her competence and the respect she commands, Ji-yoon feels drained and exhausted after seven years of corporate pressure. Her daily happiness comes from enjoying fried chicken and beer after work.
Ji-yoon’s personal life is equally complicated. Years earlier, she had admired musician Cho Ga-eul (Choi Kyung-hoon) and eventually entered a relationship with him. They even began living together, but Ga-eul went on a trip and suddenly disappeared, ignoring all her calls and texts. This heartbreak has made Ji-yoon swear off romance, even as her mother encourages her to go on blind dates.
The episode also introduces Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk), a senior manager known for his strict work ethic and blunt personality. He is returning from a project, and employees eagerly await his arrival despite his reputation. Their first interaction happens at Saeum’s factory when a conflict arises regarding a new refrigerator project right before its launch. Si-woo points out that Ji-yoon’s idea to continue production while fixing flaws is risky, creating immediate tension between them.
Episode 2: Clashing Styles and a Growing Connection
Episode 2 deepens the conflict between Si-woo and Ji-yoon. The refrigerator project becomes a key battleground when production is halted because of problems with the product’s sphere-shaped ice feature. Si-woo insists on correcting every mistake before production resumes, while Ji-yoon believes the process can continue alongside the improvements.
At the office, Ji-yoon faces another challenge when her manager tries to claim her ideas as his own. Instead of confronting him directly, she exposes that he doesn’t truly understand the project. Si-woo notices her intelligence and begins to appreciate her contributions. Although he gives her a chance to receive public recognition, Ji-yoon chooses to wait until she has fully confirmed her ideas.
The episode shows a shift in their relationship when Si-woo finds Ji-yoon’s lost notebook and returns it to her at a bus stop. He then takes the same bus and shares his appreciation for her creative planning ideas. Later, they go for drinks, leading to humorous moments when Ji-yoon gets a bit too tipsy. Si-woo also receives a call from the CEO about his decisions nearly costing him his position, but he remains composed.

The Growing Connection and Future Conflict
The first two episodes effectively set up the central conflict and romance of See You at Work Tomorrow!. Ji-yoon is burned out and disillusioned, while Si-woo is the principled boss who begins to see her true potential. Their interactions, from professional clashes to more personal moments, suggest a slow-burn romance that will develop over the series.
A key moment in the premiere sets up a future storyline. Si-woo tells Ji-yoon that she has changed, adding curiosity to the story and hinting at a past connection between them that has not yet been revealed. The introduction of the second lead couple, with Ji-yoon’s junior colleague Yoon No-ah (Kang Mi-na) soon to meet her own romantic interest, adds another layer to the show’s charm.
The drama is a 12-episode series, with new episodes debuting every Monday and Tuesday on tvN and Prime Video, concluding on July 28, 2026.
