The controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer known as Clavicular has lost his presence on YouTube once more. The platform terminated his two channels, @LiveWithClav and @ClavLooksmax, without giving an immediate explanation to the creator.
Braden Eric Peters, the 20-year-old behind the Clavicular persona, shared the news with his followers on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed frustration over the sudden removal of his accounts, which he claimed contained livestream archives and free educational content.
“Very sad news this morning. My YouTube channels @LiveWithClav & @ClavLooksmax were terminated this morning with no warning or explanation,” Peters wrote. “The channels consisted of livestream VODs and free courses created by me to help empower young men to be the best versions of themselves.”
The Real Reason Behind the YouTube Termination
Despite Clavicular claiming he received no warning, the email notice from YouTube told a different story. The platform cited “severe or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines” as the official reason for removing both channels.
YouTube representatives later clarified the situation to multiple news outlets. The company explained that this action was not a new decision but an enforcement of a past penalty.
YouTube terminated Clavicular’s original channel back in November 2025. That initial ban happened because the creator directed viewers to websites offering illegal or regulated goods and services, breaking the platform’s policies.
A YouTube spokesperson told media outlets: “We terminated the creator’s original channel back in November 2025. We removed these additional channels under our terms of service, which prohibit creating new channels after a termination.”
This rule means once YouTube permanently removes a channel, the person behind it cannot simply start fresh with new accounts. The platform has systems to track users who try to bypass these bans.
Platform Enforces Policy Evasion Rules
YouTube’s internal team actively looked for channels connected to the banned creator. A source at YouTube explained that the company identified these additional accounts amid “various social escalations” surrounding Clavicular.
The source noted the influencer “did a pretty good job of obscuring that he was associated with that channel.” However, after an internal investigation, YouTube confirmed the links and removed the channels for “circumvention” of their rules.
The platform continues to watch for any other accounts tied to Braden Peters. A representative stated that YouTube is “taking a closer look at him and making sure there’s not going to be any more copies popping up.”
A Troubling Month for the Young Influencer
The YouTube ban adds to a series of difficult events for the 20-year-old content creator in April 2026. Just nine days before losing his YouTube channels, Clavicular experienced a suspected drug overdose while livestreaming on Kick from a location in Miami.
During that livestream at a mall and restaurant, the situation turned serious, leading to his hospitalization. He returned home the next day and shared details on X about the experience.
“Just got home, that was brutal,” Peters wrote on April 15. “All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution. The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”
Before the overdose incident, Clavicular made headlines for walking off an interview with 60 Minutes Australia. He left after a reporter asked whether he identified with the incel community.
Public Responds to the Channel Removals
Online reactions to Clavicular’s YouTube ban have been mixed, with many commenters expressing little surprise given his history of controversial behavior. Critics have labeled the influencer a “danger to young men” due to the extreme nature of his content.
One person responded to his plea for help by writing: “They probably realized you’re nothing but a danger to young men, women, and yourself. You need to take a break and take a long, hard look at your life. You’re not creating the best version of anything. You need help!”
Another commenter pointed out the pattern of behavior, stating: “That pattern keeps repeating. Confidence until scrutiny arrives. Dominance until someone pushes back. Mastery until consequences appear.”

Clavicular rose to fame as a leading figure in the “looksmaxxing” movement. This online subculture focuses on maximizing physical attractiveness through various methods, from basic grooming and fitness to extreme and dangerous procedures.
The influencer popularized concepts like “bonesmashing,” which involves striking facial bones such as the jaw or cheekbones with hard objects. Supporters of this dangerous practice believe microfractures will force the bones to remodel into more defined, attractive shapes.
Medical experts strongly warn against these practices, noting they carry serious health risks. Even if such methods produced results, they would require repeated attempts and carry significant dangers.
Peters has also been open about using substances including testosterone, anabolic steroids, and methamphetamine for appetite suppression. He has claimed that long-term steroid use left him infertile.
Despite his growing popularity, the 20-year-old has accumulated over 1 million followers across TikTok, Kick, and Instagram in the past year while building a highly polarizing reputation.
